How's that going to inspire my special needs sophomore English class? I've heard that some people have problems with the language and some of the content of the stories (sex, drugs, gangs, etc.). Frankly, i had no problem there. These are diary entries. Honesty is to be expected, and real life today (or in the '90s) is not an episode of The Brady bunch. Where i had a problem was in the endless repetition of the kids saying the exact same things, telling the same stories, with little variation in voice or tone. It is an inspiring story.
